At the age of 23, Barry Lee Chun Sing emerges as the Best Malaysian Male to complete the IRONMAN Malaysia Langkawi recently. Like any IRONMAN course, Barry swam 3.8kms, biked 180kms and ran 42kms finishing in a total time of 10 Hours and 23 Minutes. With this achievement, Barry is now qualified to the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2016.

An athlete from Team Time under the supervision of Steve Lumley, Barry trains everyday without rest until the eve of the race day itself. Inspired by his father, Mr David Lee, Barry was involved in triathlon at the eight.

I’m happy and will train for Ironman Kona. It will be even tougher, especially when weather wreaked havoc this year, but we can’t control the weather,” said Barry Lee in an interview with ToughAsia.com .

With his current status the youngest Malaysian to qualify for the IRONMAN World Championships, we wish Barry the best on his upcoming triathlon races!

Barry Lee wears the Rudy Project Wing 57 Helmet and the Genetyk Yellow Fluo Gloss with ImpactX™ Photochromic 2 Black.
