The seventh edition of the FIS Tour de Ski ended just a few days ago: this is a unique and spectacular event and is part of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup. Seven stages over a period of nine days, from December 29 to January 6 and, for the first time, three nations took part: Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

Excellent performances by the Rudy Project athletes, who won as many as four stage victories. The American Randall and the Kazakhstan skier Poltroranin, in fact, each came first twice, both of them wearing Rudy Project’s Genetyk™ Racing Pro glasses.

The extremely high quality of the materials and the cutting edge technologies used for the Genetyk™ Racing Pro cross-country skiing glasses allow the athletes to stay focused on their race performance and give their very best in an environment in which snow generates a lot of reflection and where optimum eye protection is crucial.

Genetyk™ Racing Pro glasses use mirrored Multilaser Blue lenses, able to reflect part of the sunrays and relax the eyes, with an ultra-wraparound shape that is ideal for protection from the wind and snow and for preventing eyes from watering in extremely cold conditions.

The Ergo IV™ ergonomic nose piece guarantees perfect fit and comfort and is adjustable to control ventilation by distancing the glasses further away from your face, thereby preventing the lenses from misting up. The temple tips are also adjustable to ensure maximum comfort and to make sure they do not slip off the face even when twisting the head.

And for the most demanding sports lovers, looking for top-level performance even in adverse weather conditions, Rudy Project offers the ultra-protective Genetyk Mask™ a special version for cross-country skiing. With its large-sized wraparound lens, adjustable elastic headband and a counter-frame which stops drops of sweat from falling onto the lens.
