Malaysian Firefighter Takes Home Best Malaysian Title Once Again!

Mohd Amran Abd Ghani, a Malaysian Firefighter based in Shah Alam is the first Malaysian to finish, for the second consecutive year in 4:44:39.

The new venue at Floria, Presint 4, Putrajaya is the home of the Royal Floria Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival.The swim takes place in the centerpiece of the city, a 650-hectare, man-made lake that stretches across the urban area. Dotted with botanical gardens and smooth, wide, fast-rolling roads on the perimeter, the run and bike courses have already become a popular training ground for Malaysia’s local triathletes.


Mohd Amran has been Rudy Project Malaysia Brunei’s athlete since his best Malaysia Title in the IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya in 2014. Mohd Amran completed the 1.9km swim in 00:34:51 with an average pace of 01:48/100m. On the 90.1 km bike course, Amran managed to improve his performance with the Wing57 Helmet in a total time  of 02:26:31 with an average pace 36.91kph. Upon the finishing line, Amran clocked in a total time of 4:44:39. Congratulations Mohd Amran!
