Team Rudy Project MY – The Relay Team Champion In TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya 2016

3th April 2016 – After the IRONMAN Langkawi in 2015, Rudy Project Malaysia Brunei continues its participation in the TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya this year. Rudy Project Malaysia Brunei had collaborated with the potential athletes to create its Relay Team. Team Rudy Project MY was formed with the participation of Irene Chong (Swimmer), Mohammad Fauzan (Cyclist) and Edan Syah (Runner) together with the lucky bib number of ‘1090’.

Irene Chong

The swimmer of Team Rudy Project MY, Irene Chong, with formidable power in her tiny body. She swam as 1st in the overall rank during the 1.9km swimming session in the lake. She then runs to the Transition Area after came out from the water at the time of 28 minutes 20 seconds.

Mohd Fauzan

Mohammad Fauzan, the national road racing cyclist used 2 hours and 13 minutes to finish the 2 laps racing with his Rudy Project Black Lime Fluo Wing 57 helmet and Agon eyewear. He keep the team in the overall rank of 1st with the speed of 40.65 km/h in the race and finished at the race time of 2:43:48.

Edan Syah

Edan Syah, the self-coach ‘citizen runner’ as the runner of Team Rudy Project MY, runs 21.1km under the hot sun with only 1 hour and 23 minutes without tiredness. With his well-trained stamina and skills, Edan had successfully maintained the team’s overall rank at the first. He takes the relay team champion for his team by crossing the line at the overall time of 04:09:40.

The total time team Rudy Project MY used to complete the race is 4 hours and 9 minutes, which is not only the shortest time used within the mixed relay teams, but also among all the relay teams.

With the outstanding performance, Team Rudy Project MY had successfully won the Relay Team Champion in the TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya. The team received the award with proud and encouragement on their performance and teamwork. Congratulations to the athletes and Team Rudy Project MY.
